Heading south? Create-A-Smile asks you to think about packing a few toys in your suitcases for the annual Children's Christmas Party at Xaibe Golf and Country Club on December 22nd. Last year Santa gave gifts to over 100 children along with free swimming, food and drinks.
If you would prefer to make a cash donation - we will gladly accept it. All money will be used to procure a clown who will run games and make balloon animals and/or we will fill a pinata. If we have extra money, a food basket for an adult will be given at a drawing.
Toys or money can be dropped off with Tim at Xaibe Golf and Country Club, with me, Judy Yablonski, 622-3347 before November 3 or Michael at 660-9961, after November 5.
If you could see the faces of these young children who most likely get next to nothing for Christmas, you would know why this is such a wonderful project. It has warmed my heart each year with memories of what Christmas means to youngsters.
