Set Your Home Page to Corozal.com

It is easy to make Corozal.com your home page. That way, when your start browsing the Web, you can begin with the latest news and upcoming events in Corozal. Also, the custom Home Page has links to the most popular web-based email sites: Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail. Setting your home page depends on which browser you use.

Setting Home Page in Firefox

Firefox is our recommended browser. It is available for almost all operating systems, and if you don't have it you can download it for free at http://getfirefox.com

To make Corozal.com your home page in Firefox:

  1. In the address bar, type corozal.com/home and press Enter.
  2. After the page loads, find the little C icon to the left of the address you typed in.
  3. Use your left mouse button to drag it left and drop it on the little home (looks like a house) icon.
  4. Firefox will ask "Do you want this document to be your new nome page?" Click Yes

Google Chrome

If you are using Google's Chrome browser:

  1. Click the little wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Options (or Preferences if you are on a Mac).
  3. Click the Basics tab.
  4. Under Home Page, click Open this page: and type in http://corozal.com/home
  5. Recommended: Check Show Home on the toolbar
  6. Recommended: Under On Startup, select Open the home page
  7. Click Close

For additional Chrome options, click on: Google Chrome

Internet Explorer

If you are still using Microsoft's Internet Explorer (why?), setting the home page depends on which version you are using.

Remember that the web address you will want to type in is http://corozal.com/home and if you want, you can copy it to the clipboard and paste it in when the instructions call for it.
